​Hey there, I’m Phil, an Auckland-based marriage celebrant and master of ceremonies!

I'm a big sports fan, lover of people and bringing the good vibes. I've emceed major sports events and in my day job I facilitate to large groups of people.

​I’m here to add absolute value to your day. As a seasoned public speaker, I'm skilled at reading a room, and holding the attention of an audience, while personalising each service specifically for couples I am privileged enough to work with.
Everything is about you guys and I’m here to make things official (the legalities of marriage) but also add a unique flavour that together we can create leading up to your special day.  From helping you tie the knot, to being the master of ceremonies at your reception, sporting or corporate event, you'll relax in knowing your event will run smoothly.

I take care of all the important stuff to make sure you get legally married!

I will support you with:
  • Assisting with writing your vows if needed, or providing pre-prepared vows.
  • Offering a catalogue of readings/poems to find what will resonate with you. 
  • Reminding what documents you'll need such as applying for marriage licence, etc.
  • Officiating the service.
  • Filing your wedding papers with NZ Births, Deaths & Marriages to make it official! ​
Each ceremony is different, so lets tailor one that's perfect for you!

Master of Ceremonies

Why you'll be over the moon to have me as your MC
  • ​​I'll take care of all your reception hosting requirements, including liaising with the venue ahead of time and during the day.
  • I give clear instructions from yourselves and the venue to ensure guests know where they need to be, and when.
  • I'll introduce speeches, and brief each speaker ahead of time so they are across all elements, including technical things such as microphone use, etc.
  • I help run and facilitate any activities or games you want on the day.
  • ​I can introduce special traditions or new traditions such as cake-cutting, bouquet throwing and the ever-important first-dance.
  • ​I give you the golden ticket to have fun, and create memories with your loved ones, while I take care of the rest.  ​
